Delo drums, ti mette le aaaliiii! uh uh uh
Da qualche mese collaboro con Marvel come cover artist, ho realizzato una serie di covers per la serie AVENGERS The Initiative saranno in uscita da luglio negli USA e sono per gli albi: #26 #27 #28 #29.
Ok, non sono mai stato un fan dei comics e devo dire che spesso non conosco i personaggi che devo disegnare nelle covers (uh uh uh) ma a volte fare un po’ di ricerca in internet è sufficiente per caratterizzarli quanto basta.
Per AVENGERS The Initiative sono stato scelto in quanto adatto a disegnare questa serie di 4 covers in stile “propaganda poster”. Sono sorpreso di come sia piacevole e “semplice” lavorare con gli editors Marvel, trovo che ci sia un gran rispetto degli artisti, e un’inaspettata libertà di interpretazione.
Mi piacerebbe continuare a lavorare con Marvel anche su altre serie, vediamo se si troverà una nuova intesa artistica.

Ok, I have never been a comics fan and I must say that often, I don’t know characters I have to draw on covers (uh uh uh) but sometimes a research on the Net is enough.
For AVENGERS The Initiative I had to draw covers as “propaganda posters”. I was surprised to see how pleasant and easy it is to work with Marvel editors. I’d like to work again with them on other series, I’m waiting for another artistic collaboration!

Non mi dilungherò a giustificare il fatto che tra il KS3.5 e questo annunciato KS4.0 sia passato moltissimo tempo, è così! Ho deciso di ricostituire il KS sotto forma di blog, proprio perchè è il formato più agile, leggero e diffuso, anche tra i disegnatori e artisti che conosco o stimo.
In questo modo, spero di essere molto più presente con updates e novità sui miei progetti in corso, e non solo… follow me!
I don’t have any explanation about all the time passed between KS3.5 and long awaited KS4.0, that’s it! I decided to rebuild KS as a blog, because it’s easier to use, to update, to read… as well as many artists and illustrators I know and like.
In that way, I hope to be more connected with updates and news about my current projects…
