Avant tous je vais écrire en français ce post, parce que le lancement de la nouvelle version exclusive du Mekaneko aura lieu à Japan Expo 2011 (Paris, 30 juin – 3 juillet) donc, venez voir le plus grand événement manga-anime-games-japon en Europe! et rencontrez moi, avec mes petits Mekaneko, sur le stand Artoyz le vendredi 1 et le samedi 2 (16h – 18h).
Ho iniziato il post in francese perchè il lancio della nuova versione esclusiva del Mekaneko avrà luogo al Japan Expo 2011 (Parigi, 30 giugno -3 luglio) quindi, se potete, venite a perdervi nella più grande e importante convention europea di manga-anime-games-Giappone! e incontratemi, coi miei piccoli Mekaneko, allo stand Artoyz il venerdì 1 e sabato 2 (16h -18h).
Il concorso Mekaneko Purikura è da regolamento riservato ai residenti in Francia, o a chi eventualmente sarà presente al Japan Expo 2011, più in basso, i links di riferimento (é3é)

E’ giunto il momento per un post con qualche piccola anteprima di VOX!
Cominciamo con un buon teaser dell’immagine “Vostok 1″ che è già apparsa da un po’ sul mio facebook!
Un timido omaggio alla conquista spaziale, nell’anniversario dei 50 anni dall’impresa di Jurij Gagarin… Nel mix di tematiche, ispirazioni, divagazioni, ecco la prima illustrazione “space” ma non reserà sola. Rock e spazio, si incontrano perfettamente anche nelle canzoni della band migliore del nuovo millennio, i Muse (purtroppo gli Smashing Pumpkins sono da considerarsi chiusi nel 2000).
E’ molto importante quello che ascolto mentre creo VOX, la musica insieme alle emozioni vengono distillate in immagini.

Let’s begin with a nice teaser of the image “Vostok 1″ which already appeared since a few weeks on my facebook!
A bashful hommage to space conquest, in the 50th anniversary of Juri Gagarin’s accomplishment… In the mix of themes, inspirations, digressions, here the first “space” illustration, but it won’t be the only one.
Rock and space blend together well also in the songs of one of the best bands in the new millenium, the Muse (unfortunately the Smashing Pumpkins are to be considered as gone since 2000). What I listen while creating VOX is very important, the music and the feelings are distilled together into images.
Ne approfitto per confermare che la data di pubblicazione di VOX è prevista verso la fine del 2012, e che sto mettendo davvero tutto me stesso in questo artbook, e voglio andare anche oltre me stesso, ma di questo ne parlerò più avanti. Allego altri misteriosi e antipatici teaser, da altre immagini di VOX.
E prometto un nuovo post settimana prossima, un post sul Mekaneko e le prossime novità.
I take advantage of the post to confirm that the publishing date for VOX is planned for the end of 2012, and that I’m really putting all of myself into this artbook, and I also want to go beyond myself, but I’ll speak about this later on. I attach some other mysterious and nasty teasers, from other illustrations in VOX.
And I promise a new post will be done next week, a post on Mekaneko and the next news.

Mi sono arrivati finalmente tutti i comics Marvel di cui ho fatto le covers!
Ali vello di colori e stampa non sono il massimo, credo di aver usato il giusto profilo colore USA, ma comunque mi sembrano piuttosto desaturati, anche se la cosa non è troppo grave, visto il concept design da poster “vintage”. Ho visto che anche in USA è stata scelta la mia cover con Iron Patriot per la raccolta Avengers! così come è accaduto in Italia e Francia, soddisfazione.
E’ arrivato anche il primo numero di Breaking into comics the Marvel way a tutti gli effetti, la mia cover preferita tra quelle che ho realizzato! e all’ultima pagina si annuncia il numero seguente, e qui, come ho già spiegato, la coincidenza ha voluto Lostfish come cover artist! bella! ♥
At last I received all the Marvel comics for which I designed the covers!
Colours and print quality are not top ones, I think I used the right USA colour profile, but they look desaturated anyway, even if this is not a big issue, because the concept design was “vintage” poster. I also see that my cover with Iron Patriot for the Avengers collection was selected! As it happened in Italy and France, this is satisfaction!
Also, the first issue of Breaking into comics the Marvel way is available at all effects, my favourite cover among the ones I made! and in the last page the next issue is presented, and here, as I have already said, coincidence wanted Lostfish as cover artist! Lovely ♥
